What would you do if you found yourself suddenly in command when the skipper is incapacitated?
This is the ideal course for those who enjoy boating but are not often at the helm. Boating problems and emergencies can occur, and you may find yourself suddenly in command. How can you get help? How can you get to shore? What can you do if boating mishaps arise? This course covers some essential boating information about what to do in these situations.
The Captain would certainly be relieved to know that the crew could make the right decisions and take the right actions to stabilize the situation, contact the Coast Guard or others for help, report the vessel's location, get proper medical care if needed, and even get the boat home safely.
This class meets Tuesday May 15 and Thursday May 17 at 6:30pm. All required materials are included in the course fee.
